1st Day of work @ Petals~

Oh yeah, let me explain a little about this attachment before some of my frenz get left outta the picture ;) wei pork, i know u did this explain this on ur blog before, im so tempted to just copy and paste the whole para! but ur TOOT blog doesnt allow me to! hahaha~

okok! get it started..
In Shatec, we actually have to go through a few months of F&B module. of which we have to do this subject called "Training Restaurant" in sch for 6 months.. whereby we will be trained to serve our own schoolmates and trainers. and after the 6 months we wld be split up into 3 different grps to go into our sch's 3 different outlets..

• Petals (beside Funan IT mall)
• Rosette (inside SHAvilla)
• and... a Chinese Restaurant which is located at the top level of OCBC building

this outlet training will last for about 3months in all. within this 3 months, we need not report to school. its straight to our outlet..yeah~ no exams! no projects! sorta a break frm sch work actually ;) and also, we'll be rotating as a grp among the different outlets.

ok, hope u guys are getting what im trying to explain eh!

so yeah! im in one of the groups and we're starting off at Petals today..

while walking over there with Rebecca, Candy, Muzzy and Sze Mun.. we were happily chatting about what we were doing for the short break.. laughing over some stuff and all.. but when we got there, some other peeps frm other class looked all serious like all ready for some big event.. den one of the more experienced staff, Andy, was like telling us where we're supposed to get changed, where we supposed to put our bags.. he have this damn attitude face at the beginning but after a whole day of work i knw he's just getting serious with his work~

i was the aboyeur for today.. what i did was to get the orders frm the captain, send it to the kitchen and instruct them what to serve, what to cook, when to be ready, chase them when the food is taking too long.. ehh sounds easy eh? not really when u have to be in full uniform and the kitchen was damnn stuffy!

before the whole operation, Andy called me while i was enjoying my chit with Candy..

"Go get Bobby!"
"Huh? who's Bobby?"
"Vaccum cleaner.. his name is Bobby!"

hahahaha. Bobby. so Cheesy!

after vaccuming, he sees me idling ard, chatting to everyone, he called me again..

"Eh eh, you girl right? go arrange the flowers, all girls go arrange flowers~"
yeah and so i did together with Rebecca and Sze Mun~

going on diet was made much difficult with tempting cakes right in front of me wherever i walk, i just cant avoid this sight.. the pastry lady didnt make it any better by telling me..

"You wanna eat ah? you work night shift lah, then i can sell you the cakes at $1 which after 9pm~"

*shakes head, smile and walk away* hahaha..

and so... lunch crowd wasnt too bad.. just abt 10 tables.. pretty much a relaxing day~ i dunno if we did well in the service today.. but i definitely knw i miss all the usual Training Restaurant peeps!.. misses misses misses.. working with those guys frm other classes just arent the same..
